Aujourd'hui c'est au tour d'Albert d'être en panne. Mais ils l'avaient annoncé, période de vacances universitaires oblige.
UPDATE 16:38 UTC: Everything is back up, and we have a suspected culprit process in mind as the root cause. (It's part of the challenge processing.) We'll keep an eye on it and make adjustments to keep this from happening in the future.------UPDATE 15:39 UTC: We've taken the BOINC server done and are currently optimizing the database tables. We may not need to take the entire database down, but some tables will be locked while they're optimized. This may impact certain website operations temporarily, including the forums.----------UPDATE 13:44 UTC: We're letting the transitioner catch up, which should complete in about 90 minutes. At that time, we're going to take BOINC down, and then take the database offline for maintenance. Most of the website will not operate while the database is down. It is unknown how long that will take, but my best guess is an hour or two. Most background processing, including the validator and most statistics are suspended.----------As of approximately 12:45 UTC on Dec 23, 2014, we are investigating a problem with the PrimeGrid BOINC server. If this requires taking down the database, most website functions won't work (including these forums), but PRPNet will be unaffected.BOINC is working intermittently -- if your BOINC client is having trouble getting work or returning results, just let it keep trying.More information will be forthcoming as it become available.____________
