Here comes a short report about the dDM weekend.
On Sunday, we had an all-time high regarding the daily credits. This was mainly caused by the overwhelming power of L'Alliance Francophone and their team challenge. Thank your for your support!
Besides the scientific computations this challenge is also a good test for our dDM infrastructure. Fortunately, the server keeps its performance and runs quite stable so far.
Nevertheless, we are slowly running out of WUs. Before the challenge had started I've just underestimated the need of WUs and haven't created enough. We still have a buffer of regular WUs and every client that asks for will get those. There is also a huge buffer of WUs that are usually not delivered to clients. These WUs a very short running (below 1 minute) and usually computed on the dDM server. In case we are running out of regular WUs I will start delivering these short running WUs anyway.
Currently, I am generating new WUs. This will take a while because I have to think about new and useful experiments. Let's see if the server can stand the additional load caused by the WU creation.
